A 19-year-old Cheyenne man is facing a felony charge after allegedly causing more than $1,000 in property damage.

According to a booking sheet, a Laramie County Sheriff's deputy arrested Xavien Elijah Rivera in the 1800 block of Studebaker Road around 5 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 15.

Rivera was taken to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center and then booked into the Laramie County Detention Center.

Rivera was subsequently charged with felony property destruction, a crime punishable by up to 10 years in prison, up to a $10,000 fine, or both.

Bond Set at $5K Cash

Rivera made his initial appearance in Laramie County Circuit Court on Wednesday, Feb. 19, during which his bond was set at $5,000 cash and his preliminary hearing was scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 3:30 p.m.
