Laramie County Sheriff's Deputy Nabs Wanted Cheyenne Man
According to a booking sheet, Isaac Lee Gonzales was taken into custody at 8:22 p.m. on July 27, 2024, after a Laramie County Sheriff's deputy, knowing Gonzales to have Laramie County warrants, spotted him in the 500 block of South Greeley Highway.
The deputy says Gonzales had two warrants out of Circuit Court.
The first warrant, signed by Judge Sean Chambers on June 14, 2024, was for conspiracy to commit burglary and accessory after the fact to commit burglary, both felonies.
The second warrant, signed by Judge Antoinette Williams on June 17, 2024, was for failure to pay $220 on an original charge of misdemeanor theft.
Gonzales, who reportedly refused to appear in Circuit Court on Monday morning and again on Tuesday morning, was finally seen on his warrants Wednesday morning.
Williams raised the bond in his felony case from $3,000 cash to $7,500 cash and ordered him to pay $15/day against his $220 fine.
Gonzales is scheduled to be back in Circuit Court for his preliminary hearing on Aug. 7, 2024, at 3:30 p.m.
All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
