The Wyoming Highway Patrol is asking for the public's help in tracking down the driver of a dark gray Toyota SUV who was involved in a pursuit west of Cheyenne Tuesday morning, June 18.

According to an agency Facebook post, troopers tried to stop the SUV (pictured above) after receiving a traffic complaint about the driver driving recklessly, but the driver sped off, driving the wrong way on Interstate 80.

The driver then reportedly crashed through the right-of-way fence and entered a field, but they were able to navigate the rough terrain before law enforcement got to the location.

"The suspect driver is believed to be a 30-40-year-old white male with some facial hair," the post reads.

The Patrol says the SUV has damage to the front from a barbed wire fence, damage to the rear bumper, no license plates, and dark tinted windows.

"If you see it, please don't approach it and call Wyoming Highway Patrol Dispatch (307-777-4321)," the post reads.
