A 23-year-old Cheyenne woman is facing a felony charge after allegedly strangling a household member.

According to a booking sheet, Chelsey Clark was arrested at 7:17 p.m. on Monday, May 19, after police were dispatched to a physical domestic.

Domestic Violence Call Leads to Felony Arrest

Police say after an investigation, they had probable cause to arrest Clark for strangulation of a household member, a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison, and misdemeanor domestic battery.

Clark was taken to the Laramie County Detention Center, where she was booked on the charges.

Clark is scheduled to make her initial appearance in Laramie County Circuit Court in front of Judge Antoinette Williams on Wednesday, May 21, at 10:15 a.m.
