UPDATE: 12-Year-Old Runaway Found Safe, Cheyenne Police Say

The Cheyenne Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding a 12-year-old runaway.

According to a department Facebook post, Byntlie Vaughn was last seen getting on a bus at Johnson Junior High School at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24.

Vaughn is 4-foot-10 and weighs 72 pounds.

She was last seen wearing gray sweatpants with two white strips on the side and a black Hurley sweatshirt.

Anyone with information on Vaughn's whereabouts is asked to call police dispatch at 307-637-6525.

7:15 P.M. UPDATE:

Police say Vaughn has been safely located.
