Cheyenne Woman Charged After Police Find Drugs in Purse
A 28-year-old Cheyenne woman could face up to 29 years in prison after police say they found drugs, a ledger and over $700 cash in her purse.
Court records say police were called to the area of Dillon Avenue and W. 17th Street Saturday night in regards to a man jumping in front of traffic.
Officers contacted Justin Giron and Nichole Clark, who were in a truck parked in the area, and say "both appeared extremely anxious and nervous."
After a K9 alerted on the truck, police conducted a search and found 22.5 grams of methamphetamine, 1.6 grams of cannabis, 0.56 grams of heroin, a ledger with names and dollar amounts next to them and $736 cash in a purse on the front seat.
Clark was arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of heroin and marijuana.
Clark is currently being held in the Laramie County jail on a $10,000 cash bond. Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 26 at 1:30 p.m.
