A 28-year-old Cheyenne woman has been sentenced to 12 years in federal prison for distributing fentanyl, police say.

According to a department Facebook post, in September of 2024, the Cheyenne Police Department’s Community Action Team (CAT) began an investigation into fentanyl distribution in the Cheyenne area.

Through surveillance operations and interviews, detectives determined that Stacey Scrak was working with Brady Ehlers and his then girlfriend Ashley Haberman to distribute the drug.

Police say Ehlers and Haberman would purchase fentanyl in Colorado and bring it back to Laramie County for redistribution.

"Together, Scrak, Haberman, and Ehlers sold the drug for several months," the post reads. "One sale was linked to a fatal overdose."

Scrak will be subject to three years of supervised release once she's released from prison.

Ehlers and Haberman were sentenced in June to 14 and 12 years in federal prison, respectively, followed by five years of supervised release.
