Cheyenne School Placed on Secure Perimeter While Cops Make Arrest

A wanted Cheyenne man is now behind bars.

Cheyenne Police Department spokesman Officer Kevin Malatesta says 32-year-old John Hill was arrested near Bain Elementary School between 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Friday.

Hill was being sought on two warrants -- one for interference with a peace officer and the other for eluding.

Out of an abundance of caution, Bain was placed on a secure perimeter while the arrest was being made.
