Recently, KGAB conducted a poll to see if the public agreed that local artists should receive government grants or should they produce art that consumers want to buy.

Most people agreed that artists should approach their work in a way that produces income, just like any other entrepreneur, rather than depending on the people's money.

However, there were those that commented that art represents our evolving culture and it is the artists that help to make that happen. Others stated that the presence of the art culture could help with the economy.

At any rate, it was a great discussion and the Downtown Development Authority has received a $10,000 grant, from the Wyoming Arts Council, to help find a space, in the downtown area, for artists to do their thing.
