UPDATE: Boy Found By Cheyenne Police Has Been Identified
UPDATE 10:10 a.m. Cheyenne Police say the boy has been identified and is headed home.
The Cheyenne Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a juvenile who has been found.
Police say the boy is non-verbal and so has not been able to tell them anything about himself.
That's according to a post on the Cheyenne Police Department Facebook page. The post describes the boy this way:
''The child was contacted in the area of West 20th street and O’Neil Avenue. He is wearing a yellow and blue T-Rex tshirt and red shorts. He has a distinct walking pattern in which he walks on his toes.''
The post says the boy appears to be somewhere between 6-10 years old and is a white male.
Anyone with information on the child is being asked to contact police dispatch at 307-637-6525.
