Cheyenne Police Seek Forgery Suspect
Police are asking for the public's help in locating a Cheyenne man suspected of several incidents of check forgery.
Cheyenne Police Department spokesman Officer Kevin Malatesta says 27-year-old Nicholas Hill allegedly broke into the Cheyenne Board of Public Utilitiies (BOPU) payment dropbox on October 12, 2016 and took three payments intended for the BOPU.
Malatesta says Hill has been associated with several incidents of check forgery involving checks taken from the BOPU box.
Anyone who knows Hill's whereabouts is asked to call the Cheyenne Police Department at (307) 637-6525.
The case remains under investigation.
