Cheyenne Police Looking to Identify Repeat Shoplifting Suspect

UPDATE: Police say the suspects have been identified.

ORIGINAL STORY:

Cheyenne police are asking for the public's help in identifying a woman and man who they say tried to steal groceries from the Albertsons on Yellowstone Road.

It happened shortly before 2 p.m. on Sept. 28.

Police say the couple attempted to steal $80 worth of groceries, but were thwarted by staff and took off in a light-colored Ford sedan bearing the Wyoming license plate 2-7917.

The woman is also alleged to have stolen $100 worth of merchandise from the store on Aug. 28.
