Cheyenne Police Investigating Street Sign Vandalism
Cheyenne Police are asking for the public's help in finding whoever is responsible for vandalizing half a dozen street name signs over the last few weeks.
"We're looking at several street signs around town that were pulled down, having the sign post bent down to the ground or ripped out of the ground, and then the streets signs were stolen off the sign posts," said Officer Kevin Malatesta.
"It appears to be taking place at night generally on the weekends," he added.
Anyone with information about the vandalism is asked to call Crime Stoppers Silent Witness at (307) 638-TIPS. Callers will remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
