Cheyenne Police Investigating Restaurant Burglary

Cheyenne Police are investigating the burglary of a local restaurant on January 24.

Spokesman Officer Dan Long says the Pizza Hut at 5320 Yellowstone Road was broken into after closing. The robbers took a safe containing money. Long says police aren't releasing information on whether the robbers got the safe open.

The safe was later found at County Road 143 and County Road 203.

Police are asking anyone with information on the case to call the Silent Witness line at 638-TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.
