Police are trying to track down a robber who struck a fast food restaurant in north Cheyenne Friday night.

Officer Kevin Malatesta says police were called to a robbery at the Subway at 111 W. Carlson Street around 8:45 p.m.

"We believe it was a white male, I think he was wearing a mask, came in (and) demanded money," said Malatesta.  "(He) was successful in obtaining money and fled on foot."

Malatesta says no one was injured in the robbery, and police are working to determine whether the incident is connected to Wednesday's robbery at the Loaf 'N Jug at 4373 E. Lincolnway.

"Obviously with it being another robbery occurring in the same week, somebody wearing a mask, it does stand out," he said.  "So we're investigating the possibility of that, but we don't know enough to say that they are related at this point in time."
