Cheyenne Police Called To Fight At Restaurant, Citations Issued
Cheyenne Police were called to a fight at the Texas Roadhouse on Tuesday evening [July 18], according to police spokeswoman Alex Farkas.
Farkas gave Townsquare Media a brief statement on the incident, which reads as follows:
''On July 18 at approximately 8:45 p.m. Cheyenne Police Officers were dispatched to a physical disturbance at Texas Roadhouse located at 1931 Bluegrass Circle.
According to statements, three individuals were involved in a verbal conflict which escalated to a physical altercation within the restaurant.
All three individuals were issued citations for fighting. Alcohol is believed to be a contributing factor.''
Farkas says citations were issued to the following people:
- Corey Whinnery, 29, of Powderhorn, CO
- Kevin Potette, 45, of Refugio, TX
- Thomas Braman, 36, of Refugio, TX
Some accounts on local social media made the incident sound far larger, with posts referring to an alleged "massive brawl" involving as many as 15 people.
