A 25-year-old Cheyenne man is facing felony charges after allegedly assaulting two police officers.

According to a booking sheet, Donald Anthony Svare was arrested at Peppermill Bar and Liquors at 1618 Stillwater Ave. at 1:08 a.m. on Thursday, July 10.

Police say alcohol and drugs were involved and Svare was uncooperative.

Svare Hit With Felony Charges

Svare was booked into the Laramie County Detention Center and subsequently charged with two counts of interference with a peace officer - bodily injury, a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison, and misdemeanor possession of methamphetamine.

On Monday, July 14, Svare was seen in Laramie County Circuit Court in front of Judge TJ Forwood on the charges.

Bond Set at $2K Cash

Svare's bond was set at $2,000 cash and his preliminary hearing was scheduled for Monday, July 21, at 9 a.m.
