Cheyenne Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash

A 26-year-old Cheyenne man is dead following a motorcycle accident in Sun Valley this (Monday) afternoon.

Cheyenne Police Department spokesman Officer Kevin Malatesta says Anthony Graham was headed north on Meadow Drive around noon, when his motorcycle collided with a trash truck that was headed west on Continental Place.

"We're still working out all of the details as to how the crash occurred," said Malatesta. "It appears that the trash truck stopped at the stop sign and continued out into the intersection."

Graham was wearing a helmet, but died at the scene. The driver of the trash truck was uninjured.

Malatesta says no traffic citations have been issued at this time and officers are continuing to investigate the crash.

"Measurements and everything have been taken at the scene and we are checking both drivers for any impairment," said Malatesta. "It takes a couple of weeks for all of those things to process though, so it may be several weeks before we're able to conclude this investigation."
