Cheyenne Frontier Days Volunteer Statue Finds A New Home
A bronze statue in honor of Cheyenne Frontier Days volunteers has found a new home on Hynds Boulevard.
That's according to a CFD news release.
History Of The Statue
According to the release ''Named the Daddy of 'em All - A Cheyenne Tradition, the 100th Annual Volunteer sculpture was crafted by acclaimed Western artist Herb Mignery. It was previously placed near the entrance of the Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum but was relocated to accommodate construction of the new Morningstar Native American Indian Village (scheduled to open in the summer of 2026).''
The statue's new home is along Interstate 25, underneath the Cheyenne Frontier Days Marquee. It is now located next to the Just LeDoux It and the How ‘Bout Them Cowgirls statues, respectively.
