The 119th "Daddy of 'em All" may prove to be one for the record books.

"Preliminary indicators are showing that it's a phenomenal year," said Cheyenne Frontier Days General Chairman Darin Westby.  "We're real excited at where this thing's going and we're definitely on track to have a record year."

Westby says attendance has not only been up on the park, but off the park as well.

"The pancake breakfasts and the parades, they're showing good numbers," said Westby. "Fort D.A. Russell Days, I guess, is one of their best Saturdays ever out there."

Westby says word of mouth marketing has played a critical role in helping to boost numbers.

"All the volunteers have been working year round to try to improve the entertainment quality," said Westby.  "I think it's starting to take some traction and we're seeing and feeling the buzz around the community and up and down the front range."
