Cheyenne Firefighters were able to quickly control a structure fire that was reported late Tuesday night, according to a release from Cheyenne Fire Rescue.

According to the release, the structure fire in the 5200 block of Harmon Avenue was reported a little before midnight, with crews sent out to battle the blaze at 11:47 and arriving on the scene at 11:51 p.m.

When they got there they found a trailer home engulfed in smoke and flames. the first crews on the scene worked to knock down the fire and keep it from spreading. Laramie County Fire Authority [LCFA] soon arrived on the scene. The release says the blaze was under control by 12:18 a.m.

The cause of the fire is being investigated by the LCFA, and as of Wednesday morning, a damage estimate was not yet available.
