
UPDATE 9:30 A.M: Albany County Emergency Management Says Evacuation Still In Effect
The Fish Creek Fire in Albany County had grown to about 100 acres as of this morning, according to Watch Duty
There seems to be some question about the size of the blaze, however. Albany County Emergency Management is reporting the fire at 25-30 Acres
'As of this morning, the Fish Creek Fire remains approximately 25-30 acres. The GO! Evacuation for the area of Fish Creek Ranch and Cherokee Park Area remains in place. Power is being restored to affected customers at this time. The Evacuation Center at the Albany County Fairgrounds was closed last night. If you are in the evacuated area and are in need of shelter or have any other needs, please contact LARC Dispatch at (307) 721-2526 or Emergnecy Management at (307) 721-1815.

The fire prompted an evacuation of a two-mile radius around Fish Creek Ranch and the Cherokee Park area. That evacuation was ordered around 9 p.m. Tuesday and was still in effect as of 9:16 this morning, according to the Albany County Sheriff's Office Facebook page.
