
Cheyenne Fire Rescue, ATF Investigating Tuesday Fire In Cheyenne
Cheyenne Fire Rescue [CFR] is continuing it's probe into a Tuesday afternoon structure fire at the site where an apartment complex was being built.
According to a news release, CFR is being helped in the investigation by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives National Response Team.

The blaze was reported at 3:35 p.m on Tuesday. at 2505 East Carlson. Cheyenne Fire Rescue rushed to the scene of the blaze with with "four fire engines, one ladder truck, one Battalion Chief, and one support unit, totaling 19 firefighters." according to a Facebook post.
Over 50 firefighters, including Laramie County Fire District #1, Laramie County Fire Authority, and Wyoming Air National Guard Fire Department as well as Cheyenne Fire Rescue firefighters were eventually deployed on the blaze, which was extinguished by about 5 p.m.
City of Cheyenne: ATF Helps Investigate Apartment Complex Fires
According to the Thursday release the ATF typically assists local agencies with investigations into large apartment complex fires.
The release says of ATF "They assist with witness interviews, searching through rubble from the fire, and documenting the entire process. The collaborative investigation aims to determine the cause and origin of the fire and to gather all relevant information in a systematic and timely manner. CFR and ATF personnel remain on scene as investigative efforts progress"
The release quotes Fire Chief Andrew Dykshorn as saying "CFR is grateful for the opportunity to partner with the ATF National Response Team on this fire investigation,”
Dykshorn went on to say “Our fire investigators will work side by side with the subject-matter experts in each discipline within the ATF National Response Team. These resources will help our community get clear answers about what happened in this incident."
