Cheyenne and Laramie County area law-enforcement agencies will be out in force through the New Year's eve, looking for impaired drivers, according to a spokesman for the Cheyenne Police Department.

Sgt. David Janes said Cheyenne Police will be joined by the Laramie County Sheriff's Office, Wyoming Highway Patrol, and law enforcement from Wyoming state parks. Sgt. Janes said the DUI mobile command center has also been mobilized.

The mobile command center allows officers to more quickly process impaired driving suspects who have been arrested, so the officers can get back out on the streets again.
