A spokesman for the Cheyenne Police Department says there are no new developments in the investigation of a double homicide that happened Monday at The Coin Shop on West Lincolnway.

Officer Dan Long says investigators are continuing to follow up on leads in the killing of 67 year old Dwight Brockman, who owned the business, and 76 year old George Manley.

Police say the killing happened around 9:30 Monday morning as part of an apparent attempt to rob the store. Police have said they are seeking a Hispanic male around 5' 7" who was wearing a dark shIrt at the time of the killings.

Cheyenne Police released a sketch of the suspect later that day and then released an updated version the next day. Cheyenne Mayor Rick Kaysen has also issued a plea for anyone who may have information on the case to come forward.

Meanwhile, as the business remains closed following the murders, people who knew the slain men have been leaving flowers at the front door of the shop as a memorial to the victims.
