Watch: Cheyenne Police Post Video Of Burglary, Ask For Public’s Help
Cheyenne Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect in a pair of recent burglaries at a local car dealership.
That's according to a post on the Cheyenne Police Department Facebook page.
Local Car Dealership Was Hit On Successive Nights
According to the post, the burglar targeted Ken Garff Ford at 2200 Westland Road on two successive nights. Surveillance video captured both crimes.
Police say on the first night the burglar drove up with a trailer, which he used to steal a large tire-changing machine from the dealersip. He came back the next night, this time stealing scrap metal.
According to the post, ''The suspect appears to be driving an early-2000s Chevrolet four-door pickup, light tan or gold in color, with a toolbox in the bed. The trailer he’s using may have a couch on it."
Anyone with information is being asked to contact the CPD Detective Bureau at (307) 637-6513.
