UPDATE: Cheyenne Police say the bear has been safely captured
Original article: Cheyenne Police have issued a wildlife alert this morning after a reported black bear sighting.
CPD posted the following on it's Facebook page.
"A black bear has been spotted near Whitney Road / 6000 block of East Pershing Blvd.
Officers are currently working with the Wyoming Game & Fish Department to safely locate and capture the bear.
If you see the bear, do not approach. Please contact dispatch at (307) 637‑6525.
Updates will be provided when available"
