
Mountain Lion Reportedly Spotted in Northeast Cheyenne
UPDATE:
Laramie County Sheriff's deputies searched the area with the help of a Cheyenne Police Department drone operator, but no mountain lion was found.
The Sheriff’s Office says the Wyoming Game and Fish Department was notified of the possible sighting.
ORIGINAL STORY:
The Laramie County Sheriff's Office is urging folks in northeast Cheyenne to use caution after a mountain lion was reportedly spotted near King Soopers.
"Deputies are in the area of the 3500 block of Victoria Drive investigating reports of a mountain lion sighting," the agency said in a Facebook post early Thursday morning.
Incidentally, it was just last week that a bobcat was reportedly sighted in the Sun Valley neighborhood.
