Cheyenne Police Need Help Identifying Restaurant Burglar

The Cheyenne Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a male who was caught on camera burglarizing a restaurant on the city's north side.

The burglary happened around 4:30 a.m. on Friday, April 28, at the Godfather's Pizza at 5719 Yellowstone Road, police spokeswoman Alex Farkas said Friday.

Farkas says the male shattered the rear glass door and the second interior glass door, broke into the back office, stole a safe containing an undisclosed amount of cash, and then fled on foot.

Farkas says he was wearing a white sweatshirt, a black mask, yellow pants, and white tennis shoes.

Police have released photos of the burglar and are asking anyone who recognizes him or knows his whereabouts to contact Detective Mike Fernandez at 307-633-6638 or mfernandez@cheyennepd.org.
