Albany County Sheriff’s Office Posts Bear Burglary Video

The City of Laramie recently warned residents to be aware of human-bear encounters as bears go in search of food beyond their usual habitat.

As we reported on Sept. 22 ;"The City of Laramie is reminding people to be bear-aware as reports of human-bear encounters across Wyoming are increasing.

That's according to a post on the City of Laramie Facebook page.

The post says Wyoming Game and Fish is reporting more bear-human encounters statewide. Not just in the usual backwoods areas, but also in residential zones, with the problem related to bears getting food provided by people'"

Those concerns continue, according to a post from the Albany County Sheriff's Office, which says it recently was called to a break-in of a cabin, where the suspect was...a bear. The post also includes a warning to cabin owners:  PSA: Before heading to your cabin, check for unwanted wildlife guests and secure doors, windows, and food. You never know who might have moved in while you were gone!
