Absentee Voting for LCCC Bond Election Starts Thursday
Absentee voting for the November 7 Laramie County Community College bond election begins this Thursday.
During the special election, Laramie County residents will vote whether to approve a $29.5 million bond issue to fund a number of repairs, renovations and expansion at the college.
"We encourage voters who want a mail ballot to request one as soon as possible," said Laramie County Clerk Debra Lee.
"Voting by mail ballot is easy and convenient for those who prefer to vote in the convenience of their home and for voters who will not be here in November," Lee added.
Registered voters wishing to obtain an absentee ballot and residents with questions about registering or absentee voting are asked to call the election office at (307) 633-4242.
"The early voting site in the atrium of the Laramie County Governmental Complex will not be available during this election," Lee noted.
