59-Year-Old Man Seriously Injured In Cheyenne Motorcycle Crash On Friday
Cheyenne Police say a 59-year-old man was seriously injured on Friday night in a motorcycle-car collision near the 3500 Block of East Lincolnway.
Police say the crash happened around 8 p.m. The name of the motorcyclist had not been released at last report.
According to CPD spokeswoman Alex Farkas says the collision happened when a Volkswagon Jetta driven by a 16-year-old female was turning into a shopping mall on Lincolnway. While making the turn, the Jetta collided with a motorcycle traveling down Lincolnway in the opposite direction.
The motorcyclist was rushed by ambulance to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.
Crash Is Still Being Investigated
Speed and impairment are not being considered as factors in the crash. The driver of the Jetta was not injured and remained on the scene to talk to police.
Farkas says the crash is being investigated by the CPD Major Crash Unit.
