LIST: 7 National Night Out Events Being Held in Laramie County
Seven events will be held throughout Laramie County from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. tomorrow, Aug. 6, 2024, as the Sheriff's Office celebrates National Night Out.
Public Information Officer Brandon Warner says the events are designed to bring neighbors, businesses, and law enforcement together in partnership against crime in Laramie County.
"National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community," said Warner.
"You’ll meet people that live in your area and the men and women that serve our community," he added.
National Night Out events are being held at:
Little Bear Inn - 1700 I-25 Service Rd.
Little Bear Inn will be serving hotdogs and hamburgers with Pepsi drinks. Sheriff’s, Wyoming Highway Patrol, and Laramie County Fire Authority personnel will be there. The Sheriff’s Office will be conducting drone demonstrations at 6:15 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
HealthWorks - 2508 E. Fox Farm Rd.
There will be free hotdogs, hamburgers, chips, drinks, ice cream, cotton candy, and popcorn. There will be a bouncy house, face painting, and balloon animals for the kids! Fire, AMR, and Sheriff’s personnel and vehicles as well as community resource organizations will be there.
Bunkhouse Bar & Grill - 1064 Happy Jack Rd.
The Bunkhouse will be serving pulled pork. The band, “Davis and Maverick” are providing entertainment! There will be Sheriff’s vehicles and a fire truck from Laramie County Fire Authority Station 78 at the location for the kids to check out.
Liberty Park - Burns
There will be hamburgers, hotdogs, potato chips, popcorn, and ice cream. Sheriff’s personnel and vehicles are going to be there. They’ll have basketball, football, and cornhole.
Laramie County Fire District #3 - Albin
There will be free food, a bouncy house, an obstacle course, cornhole, and more!
1800 block of Charles Jake Court
There will be food from Outback Steakhouse. Sheriff’s, Fire, and Public Works personnel and vehicles are going to be there.
5400 Skyline Dr.
There will be hamburgers, hotdogs, and smoked turkey. Sheriff’s, Fire, and Public Works personnel and vehicles are going to be there. They have coloring activities and painting a county snowplow planned for the kids.
