While Cheyenne is no stranger to scary Halloween weather, Mother Nature shouldn't be playing any tricks on us this year.

"We're expecting temperatures to be slightly warmer than average with dry conditions," the National Weather Service in Cheyenne said Thursday in a Facebook post.

"Breezy conditions across the area look likely as well," the agency added.

Spooky season is upon us! Here's a look at what kind of weather Cheyenne can typically recieve on Halloween. In typical Wyoming fashion, anything from highs in the mid 70s to heavy snow and bitter cold is possible.

This year, we're expecting temperatures to be slightly warmer than average with dry conditions. Breezy conditions across the area look likely as well.

According to NOAA Online Weather Data, the capital city saw a bone-chilling high of 35 degrees and 0.6 inches of snow last Halloween, so it'll be nice for this year's trick-or-treaters to be able to show off their costumes instead of worrying about bundling up.
