Wanted Cheyenne Transient Arrested for Meth, Gets 60 Days in Jail
A 27-year-old Cheyenne transient wanted for violating her probation is back behind bars after police, once again, caught her with meth.
Desiree Lucero was arrested Thursday on misdemeanor charges of possession of methamphetamine and interference with a peace officer.
She pleaded guilty to the charges this (Monday) morning in Laramie County Circuit Court, and was sentenced to two concurrent 60-day jail terms.
Lucero was also being sought on a probation violation warrant stemming from an original conviction and sentence for felony possession of methamphetamine.
She could face 30 to 48 months in prison for the violation.
