Unveiling Wyoming April Precipitation: Cheyenne, Laramie Insights
The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service says Cheyenne had about an average amount of precipitation in April, while Laramie was wetter than usual.
The agency posted the following on its website:
How many days of measurable precipitation were there in April? Well that depends where you were located! Cheyenne had a dry start to the month, with no measurable precipitation for the first two weeks. There was measurable precipitation in the latter half of the month, but it wasn’t enough to get precipitation totals up to average. Cheyenne finished out April with below average precipitation totals. Laramie was the opposite, with almost half of the month seeing days with measurable precipitation. Laramie finished out April with above average precipitation totals! And lastly, Scottsbluff was the middle of the road, with about a quarter of the month seeing days with measurable precipitation. On the wettest day of the month, Scottsbluff was able to pick up half of their average monthly precipitation! Scottsbluff finished out the month with normal precipitation amounts.
