Tornado Spotted 15 Miles East of Wheatland
UPDATE: The National Weather Service in Cheyenne has issued a Tornado Warning for northwestern Goshen County and eastern Platte County until 4:45 p.m.

A Tornado Warning remains in effect until 4:15 p.m. for west central Goshen County and east central Platte County.
At 356 PM MDT, a confirmed tornado was located over Deer Creek Road
along the Goshen and Platte County line, or 15 miles east of
Wheatland, moving northeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Damaging tornado and baseball size hail.
SOURCE...Law enforcement confirmed tornado.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
To repeat, a tornado is on the ground. TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a
basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy
building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in
a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect
yourself from flying debris.
If a tornado or other severe weather is spotted, report it to the
National Weather Service or your local nearest law enforcement agency
who will send your report. This act may save lives of others in the
path of dangerous weather.
