Have you made your preparations? You have a little time this Wednesday morning if not.

Here is how the storm system plays out between Wednesday and Thursday, hour by hour.

A winter storm warning was issued for Lander, most of Sweetwater County, Rawlins, southwestern Natrona County and Casper Mountain.

Highways 789, 287, 220 and the eastern side of South Pass are expected to be hazardous due to blowing snow and icy conditions.

Between 7am and 8am the two systems that will create all of this now will begin to collide.

11am snow coverage begins to pick up. In some areas it could even be heavy.

Expect temperatures to hold in the low 30s across most of the region during the day.

How much snow depends on where you are in the region. But snow fall is not expected to let up as we head into the evening and overnight hours.

Thursday, between 3am and 4am, the intensity of the snow begins to back off. You'll have to grab a shovel and start digging if you plan to drive anywhere. Speaking of that, don't expect good road conditions.

Don Day, of Day weather, in cooperation with WYDOT, has issued the following weather advisory.
