Some of the biggest names in musical entertainment will take to the stage at Cheyenne Frontier Days this year.

And while it may be highway robbery to scalp a Post Malone ticket for $3,000, police say there's nothing they can do about it.

"We've had a lot of people who've been reporting those types of things to us," said Officer Kevin Malatesta.  "We do not have a state statute or a city ordinance that prevents somebody from reselling tickets at higher than face value."

It is, however, illegal to scalp tickets on Frontier Park.  CFD allows face value or lower resale in the grassy area by the Ticket Committee Building, but anyone caught selling for above face value will be asked to leave the park.
