If you love coffee as much as I do, then you are probably always looking for a great coffee shop, to score a cup o' Joe, in the Capitol City.

Coffee is more than just another drink. Nowadays, there are coffee shops, with a variety of foods and coffee flavors, live - open mic entertainment, and an ambiance that is a perfect fit for socializing.

Here are 5 places in Cheyenne, where one could score a good cup of coffee.

  1. Paramount Cafe - This is probably my favorite place to score a cup o' Joe. Friendly service, creative atmosphere and they make great coffee. You might want to try out their bubble teas and blended drinks too.
  2. Dazbog - Born in Russian and roasted in Denver, this is a really good blend of coffee. I'm a big fan of the "Americano" and they knock it out of the ball park with ease. If you like specialty coffee's, you can get a bag of Kenya or Bali Blue.
  3. Trail Coffee - Located in the Historic Plains Hotel, you can get a great cup of coffee with a great atmosphere for visiting with friends or just looking out the window and watching the life of downtown.
  4. The Library Cafe - This may sound crazy, but yes - you can get a great cup of coffee at the Laramie County Library. The offer a big variety of Coal Creek coffee's that are bound to keep you going back. Once you grab your Joe, you can cruise into the library and read a good book.
  5. B&N Cafe - This coffee shop is located in Barnes & Noble bookstore, in Cheyenne. Where do I begin? They have a variety of Espresso beverages, to specialty coffees and don't forget that Pumpkin Spice is back! Plus - you can take your drink to your favorite chair and enjoy a good book while you're at it.
