Student Cited For Violent Threats At Fort Collins High School
A juvenile suspect has been cited for making violent threats at Rocky Mountain High School in Fort Collins on Thursday, according to a post on the Fort Collins Police Services Facebook page.
Due to his age, the name of the student has not been released.
According to the post, a School Resource Officer heard about the threats and launched an investigation. The student in question was contacted and had no weapons either on their person or property, and police who investigated further found that the student didn't have access to any weapons.
The suspect was cited for interference of staff, faculty or students of an educational institution, which is a class one misdemeanor.
