Fort Collins Police are looking for a pair of suspects in a shooting and vehicle trespass case that was reported early Monday morning.

That's according to a post on the Fort Collins Police Services Facebook page.

According to the post, police were contacted at 1:20 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 21 about two men breaking into a car in the 700 block of Crown Ridge Lane. The victim was told by a family member about the men. When she went outisde to confront the pair, one of them shot her in the leg. Police say the suspects ran away before police could get there. Officers applied first aid until EMS arrived. The victim was then taken to the hospital, where she was treated and released.

According to the post

''The suspects were described as two males, wearing dark-colored clothing, hoodies, and backpacks. The suspects are outstanding and considered armed and dangerous.

We are asking the community to check any home security cameras, doorbell cameras, or business surveillance footage for any suspicious activity, especially any individuals matching the suspects’ description, between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 3:00 a.m. from Sunday night into Monday morning.

Police are also asking anyone who has had someone trespass in that area since Aug. 1 and has not reported it to please come forward.
