Stolen Baby Jesus Figurine Returned With Apology In Fort Collins
Police in Fort Collins saya figurine of the Baby Jesus that was stolen from a nativity scene has been returned, along with a note apologiizing for the crime.
That's according to a post on the Fort Collins Police Services Facebook page.
The Figurine Was Taken Last Weekend
According to the post, the figurine was taken from the Old Town Square Nativity Scene on December 15.
But on Thursday December 19, someone returned the figurine anonymously to Poudre Valley Fire Authority Station #1 in Fort Colllins, along with a handwritten apology [above photo].
It's not clear why the figurine was taken in the first place, and police say they have no further details on who took the statuette.
