The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service has issued freeze watches for tonight and Friday night [10-5 and 10-6].

The watch area includes both Cheyenne and Laramie. The agency posted the following on its website:

October 5th Morning Update: Freeze Watches are in effect for both Thursday Night (with the exception of the central and southern NE Panhandle) and Friday Night. Please take the necessary precautions with outdoor plants and outdoor equipment.
