Today in The Morning Zone, during our 8:07AM segment on the real issues of school bullying, we will be joined by Sheriff Carolyn Bunny Welsh.

Bunny was the first woman to ever be elected sheriff of Chester County, and first woman ever to be elected sheriff in Pennsylvania. Sheriff Welsh has worked extensively with Marvin Nash of Bullying Hurts on the problems of school bullying in her state and county, and will share with us her important and enlightened views on the issues.

But first, at 7:07AM MDT, we get into this week's Kids At Risk Series. Join our panel, John Frentheway, Renee Hansen and Gary Freeman, as we explore  a new report the shows college students are less likely to have drinking problems or engage in risky behavior if their parents monitor their social lives, researchers have found. The level of monitoring is associated with parenting style and the link is stronger with the parent of the opposite gender, said the authors of the study published in the March issue of the Journal of Studies on Alcohol and Drugs.
