The National Weather Service in Cheyenne has issued a
* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
Southwestern Laramie County in southeastern Wyoming...
* Until 445 PM MDT.
* At 352 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Crystal Lake
Campground, or 21 miles west of Cheyenne, moving southeast at 15
mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.
* This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
southwestern Laramie County.
This includes Interstate 80 in Wyoming between mile markers 339 and
354.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will send your report to the National Weather Service
office in Cheyenne.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
