SE Wyoming Mountains Could Get Over A Foot Of Snow
The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for the Sierra Madre and Snowy Range mountains.
The agency says up to 16 inches of snow is possible in the higher elevations, with other areas expect to receive up to a foot of snow. The weather service posted this statement on its website:
A Winter Storm Watch has been issued for the Sierra Madre Range and The Snowy Range. Around one foot of snow is possible across the higher terrain, with maybe up to an inch or two of snow for the adjacent valleys Wednesday and Wednesday night.
