Police are currently at the scene of a possible fatal crash at the Cheyenne VA Medical Center.

Cheyenne police spokesman Officer David Inman says a man was taken to Cheyenne Regional Medical Center with life-threatening injuries after crashing his car into a tree on the property.

"He was driving and had an asthma attack possibly and apparently it got worse and it caused him to run off the road," said Inman.

VA spokesman Sam House says a passenger in the car was also taken to the hospital, but he didn't know the extent of their injuries.

House says the crash occurred around 10:45 a.m. in front of the Residential Rehab Treatment Facility.
