No one was reported injured Saturday morning after a pickup truck caught fire on the side of Interstate 25 in Platte County.

The Wyoming Highway Patrol received a call about a pickup which was "fully engulfed" at 11:30 a.m., dispatcher Becky Humphries told K2 Radio.

State troopers and Platte County Sheriff's deputies responded to the scene on the northbound side of I-25 near mile marker 101.

Debbie Quest posted the above video to Facebook shortly before noon Saturday.

Humphries says initial information showed the truck's gas tank exploded, but it's unclear why.

The exact number of people inside the truck before the fire was unavailable, but Humphries said multiple occupants were on the side of the road when officers arrived.

State troopers cleared the scene at 1:15 p.m.

We will update this story as new details are made available.
