Despite the recent cold snap, Cheyenne Regional Medical Center says they haven't had anyone come in to be treated for frostbite.

In fact, CRMC spokeswoman Kathy Baker says the hospital's emergency department is actually seeing fewer people right now than they normally do.

"We have not had many people come in with any injuries or conditions that would specifically be related to the severe cold," said Baker.

"I think a lot of people know how to prepare and know to be careful, which is good," Baker added.

The wind chill was -27 in Cheyenne and -48 near Pine Bluffs early Thursday morning, according the National Weather Service.
